DELIVERY OF YOUR ORDER 1
Delivery cost have been quoted for Australian main land only, all other destinations including overseas orders will require extra freight cost. Before ordering if from outside Australia, email us sales@wape.com.au for a firm shipping cost for you proposed order before paying. JHSM Pty Ltd is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct.
DELIVERY OF YOUR ORDER 2
If delivery is to be made to a private address, in the event no one is home to take delivery when driver calls, items will be returned to the local depot or post office to be collected by the customer. Post items will not be left under any circumstances. Items sent by courier may be authorized to leave at a location of the customers specification under writing. However, items left in this way are left at the responsibility of the customer and JHSM Pty Ltd take no responsibility for them from that point.
DELIVERY OF YOUR ORDER 3
While most orders will be delivered within 7 to 14 days, please allow up to 21 days during holiday periods and some times we get busy. All claims for damaged goods or missing bits must be made within 24 hours of receipt of order.
OWNERSHIP OF GOODS
All goods remain the property of the vendor till paid for. All orders paid by cheque will be dispatched A.S.A.P. but ownership will not transfer to purchaser until the cheque has been cleared.
RETURN POLICY
Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision at the time. No goods can be returned without written authority. Any goods returned because you chose the wrong item or you have changed your mind will attract a restocking fee of 15% for standard stock items, non stock items are non returnable. No refund will be issued for any goods returned broken or not as sold or been used. If goods are found to be faulty that is covered by our warranty clause.
OUT OF STOCK ITEM POLICY
If any item you purchase is out of stock at the time you have paid for your order and can not be restocked within 2 working days, we will email you within 2 working days so as to give you the choice of placing that item on back order, choosing another item or having your money refunded.
WARRANTY
As of the 1st of January 2012 new Australian regulations come into place regarding warranties against product defects. A warranty against defects is a warranty that extends the consumers normal rights under law.
If the product, which you purchase, contains such a warranty. This document contains the new requirements under Australian law that protects your rights under this warranty.
This document replaces the text in the manufacturers warranty in all respects, except the duration of the warranty. So, if the manufacturers warranty is stated as being 12 months then this document is valid for 12 months.

This warranty specifically relates to a failure of the product due to manufacture and does not cover damage caused by misuse of the product. This includes damage caused to electrical equipment caused by a power surge as the consumer is expected to provide surge protection to all electrical equipment.
The consumer must provide JHSM Pty Ltd or its representatives an opportunity to inspect the faulty product so that a decision can be made as to whether to repair or replace the product. This may be in person of JHSM Pty Ltd or its agent, or with sufficient photographic documentation. In the event that the product needs to be replaced, the consumer will be required to return the product to JHSM Pty Ltd or its declared agent where costs to return said product are deemed reasonable. Where the product has been determined to be repairable, JHSM Pty Ltd will send parts to the customer (within a reasonable time frame) for the customer to make repairs to the product or the customer may return the product to JHSM Pty Ltd for a technician to repair at the customers cost.
This warranty is provided in addition to other rights and remedies you have under law: Our goods come with guarantees, which cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
A major failure, under the legislation, is defined as:
- A reasonable consumer would not have bought the product if they had known about the problem. (Relating to a known problem or fault with the product).
- The goods are significantly different from the description, sample or demonstration model shown to the consumer.
- The goods are substantially unfit for their normal purpose and cannot easily be made fit, within a reasonable time.
- The goods are substantially unfit for a purpose that the consumer told the supplier about, and cannot easily be made fit, within a reasonable time.
- The goods are unsafe.

FREIGHT
Some goods are damaged during transit and all packaging should be checked before signing delivery note. All claims for transit damage must be made within 24 hours of recept. All glass products are checked before packing and because of their fragile nature, we take no responsibility for broken globes and thermometers Should the liquid in a thermometer separate, it will give a false reading Please phone or email to find out how to go about trying to fix it.
